The BCCC Annual Awards

Each year The Bearded Collie Club of Canada honours beardies owned by BCCC members which have had success in various venues of performance. As the years have passed and beardies have participated in more events, additional honours have been bestowed. The list of award winning Bearded Collies is lengthy, therefore on this site we shall recognize the top achieving Bearded Collie in each of the performance area for which an award exists.

Awards are offered annually for accomplishments completed during the prior calendar year. For a dog to be eligible for any Club award it must have been owned or co-owned by a BCCC member in good standing throughout the award calendar year as well as the current year (i.e.., 2008 and 2009 for the 2008 awards). The progeny used to calculate Top Brood Bitch, Top Stud Dog and Register of Merit awards need not be owned by Club members; however, the eligible dog for which the award is applied must be owned or co-owned by a Club member.
